Steampunk goggles are the perfect costume accessory, easy to wear, and small enough to put in a purse or pocket. They are unisex and so cheap to buy that it doesn’t pay to make them yourself unless that’s just something you like to do. Victorian Style Steampunk Goggles Rave Glasses w/Ocular Loupe

We published an earlier post about Steampunk goggles which includes a few of these Umbrella Laboratory goggles, but when we went back to see what was new in Steampunk cosplay accessories, we were impressed by the depth of Umbrella Laboratory stock. They’ve been working hard to expand their styles and options. This first section is filled with their original style goggles with a removable ocular loupe. These are great for a mad scientist costume.

Victorian Style Steampunk Goggles Rave Glasses without Ocular Loupe

This section has the original style Steampunk goggles without the ocular loupe. The price on these goggles is pretty cheap, so buying a pair with the ocular loupe would give you two styles. Depending on what you’re pairing the goggles with, the color of the lenses may be an issue. Spiral Diffraction Goggles with/without Ocular Loupe

Steampunk Prism Diffraction Goggles with/without Ocular Loupe

This group of Steampunk goggles also diffract the light, but instead of a spiral shape, these diffract in a rainbow prism shown below. These goggles have all of the details as the original style, with the added prism diffraction. Umbrella Laboratory also calls these rave glasses, but since we’ve never been to a rave, we’ll take their word for it.

Steampunk Laser Cut Goggles with/without Ocular Loupe

Umbrella Laboratory has added laser-cut goggles this year, which we just love, love, love. As you can see below, these goggles come with and without the ocular loupe. What makes these Steampunk goggles stand out is the pattern that is laser-cut into each lens. If you’re old enough to remember the child’s toy Spirograph, these designs remind us of the patterns we could draw with the wheels from that toy. They are also similar to a mandala style, with less detail due to the size. We’ve included a cross-section showing the different laser-cut designs and goggles with and without the ocular loupe. This is truly just a small representation of what they have listed in their shop.
