Steampunk began as a subgenre of fictional works, but has since crossed over to become its own subculture of fashion, art, jewelry, and more. Combining elements of the past, typically set in an historical period such as the Victorian age or the Wild West, along with futuristic elements, Steampunk is a unique blend of the past and post-apocalyptic future. Steampunk fashions for women feature lace up corsets, lace up boots, boots with buckles, and cool, retro looking styles. Here we take a look at some Steampunk costume ideas for women.
This costume is a one size fits most adults and is made from Polyester fabric. Garment can be hand washed and hung to dry. Includes a very pretty black, double button Victorian style jacket with poofy sleeves and high collar. Long, black skirt is fitted and layered and features lace trim around the hemline. Pair with some Steampunk boots and a hat for an authentic look.
This Steampunk Renegade costume is an adult one size made from hand washable Polyester. Includes three pieces: skirt, corset,and jacket (accessories shown are not included). Black corset fits around mid-section and has antique gold colored buttons all down the front. Jacket is black and fits to wear above the corset without covering it, and has long, slightly poofy sleeves with white lace trim at wrists. Black skirt comes to knee length, and is hiked up to thigh length on one side. Skirt is also trimmed in white lace at hemline. Pair with boots, stockings, and goggles for a great Steampunk look.
This is a 100% Polyester costume that comes in a standard adult women’s size that fits most up to a size 16. Outfit includes the ruffled top, corset belt, jacket, and skirt. White ruffled shirt can be seen peeping out from the brown jacket. Brown jacket has ruffles along the V shaped neckline, with puffy shoulders and close fitting arms. Brown skirt is longer in the back, coming close to knee length, while front of skirt is much shorter falling several inches above the knee. Skirt also has a partially exposed hoop for a cool Steampunk look. Black corset belt adds a nice, finishing touch to complete the look. This boot is perfect for any Steampunk outfit. Boot is black and comes up to the calf of the leg. Features two buckles and an interesting Victorian style print on most of boot. Available in women’s sizes 6 through 12.

These black boots come in women’s sizes 6 through 12, and come up to the calf of the leg. Lace up boot has ten sets of eyelets that look like little gears, perfect for the Steampunk style. These boots have a very classic Victorian look to them.
Knee High Round Toe Lace-Up Boots
This is a 100% Polyester, hand washable costume that is offered in sizes X-small through X-large. This dress is a burgundy and brown color and is shorter in front than in the back, the hi-lo style. The main part of dress is burgundy, with mid-section being a tan and brown striped fabric, with two brown leather looking straps with buckles across it.
Two leather looking straps hang down from mid-section. The dress is trimmed with a ruffle of the brown and tan striped fabric. It laces up with white laces at bust line and super short sleeves are trimmed in white ruffled fabric.
A velvet looking super short brown shrug and sleeveless brown gloves come with the Steampunk costume, along with a great Brown velvet Steampunk top hat with goggles.

Steampunk Girl Costume
This hat is a one size item made from 100% hand washable nylon fabric. Hat is black and has a gold chain across the top and a large, black feather hanging off to one side. Perfect accessory for many Steampunk costumes.
Steampunk Top Hat W/Chain Feather
These goggles compliment any Steampunk outfit and can be worn on top of the head or around your Steampunk hat. Perfect way to complete your costumed look. Goggles are 100% vinyl and are brown with brass colored eye pieces. One size fits most.
This 100% Polyester costume is hand washable and comes in sizes extra small/small (fits sizes 2 through 6) and medium/large (fits sizes 8 through 12). Bust area is a pea green trimmed with dark green lace. Bodice resembles a corset in a grayish color, that laces up with green ribbon laces. Skirt section of dress is done in several layers, one being a dark green. velvet looking fabric, a yellowish cotton fabric, and several layers of tulle fabric in various shades of green. Skirt falls several inches above the knee. Long sleeves are very sheer, made from a black mesh net type of fabric. Vest fits somewhat like a corset around the waist area, and then goes on to expose white bust area of dress and on to wrap around the neck. Vest features a ruffled black trim all around, and eyelets and black laces. Dress is solid white in color, with skirt falling several inches above the knee, trimmed with white lace. Sleeves are off the shoulder and made from a sheer, white lacy fabric. Pair with a Steampunk style mini-top hat and long black Steampunk style boots for the perfect costume.
These boots come in women’s size 6 through 12 and are made from polyurethane with synthetic soles. These tall boots come to the knee and are offered in both brown and green. High heels and gold band accent around toe area, these boots lace up and have a cool antique bronze colored gear emblem where laces begin. Features two straps with “gear” shaped buckles. The perfect compliment to most Steampunk outfits.
