Halloween is only two months away, and we are getting out our magnifying glasses and detective hats to hunt for new fun ideas for Steampunk Halloween party. You can never go wrong with vintage-style apothecary labels to help set the scene for your party. This group of really nice apothecary labels all come from one Etsy shop, Crow’s Feet BOOtique, that we discovered this year. They look terrific and are all printable, so they’re cheap and you can print them out at home.
In honor of Steampunkary’s posting of this page, Crow’s Feet BOOtique has added a Steampunk collection of labels! This collection is designed to be Steampunk, but you can easily add them to any other of the Halloween collections below. Maybe if we buy enough of this group, Crow’s Feet BOOtique will add more Steampunk labels. 🙂
Steampunk Vintage Look Labels #64, Apothecary Labels for Jars, Printable
All of the printable vintage-style apothecary labels on this page are for Halloween, which is this shop’s main category of labels, but they also have some Christmas apothecary labels that you can find here.
This first group of labels is filled with names of products you might find in Harry Potter books or movies. These all look like they are on vintage-style paper, and have names like Wolfsbane, 9 3/4, Skele-Gro, Confusing Concoction, and more. Each label has an individual look to it with unique vintage graphics to make authentic-looking apothecary labels.

This group of labels is inspired by Hocus Pocus, a Halloween movie from 1993. The movie isn’t Steampunk-based, but it’s a lot of fun. The witches in the movie are from the American Colonial period, approximately, 1607 – 1776, which is much earlier than the Victorian period. The Victorian period that Steampunk is based on is approximately 1837 to 1901. With that caveat, we thought these were a hoot! They include Broom Oil, Lucky Rat Tails, and Spray Children Scented.

This group of labels includes Wooden Stake Seasoning, Werewolf Musk, Moon Beam, Will-o-the-Wisp, and Elixir of Enchantment. If you need a set of Apothecary Jars to put your labels on, take look here. Jars can be used over and over for different occasions, by adding and removing labels.

You may be confused by the names of all of these apothecary label groups, but this is how they are listed in the Etsy shop. It’s easier to remember which labels are in each group than the number, but “shrugs” what can we do?
These Halloween labels are kid-friendly. They include Screams & Shrieks, Ghosts, Mummy Wrap, Haunting Powder, and Witch Spirits. Terrific to decorate a classroom or neighborhood Halloween party for kids.
