Summer is a great time for messy projects, because you can do them outside or in a unheated garage. That’s why when we came across these cool decoupage tissue paper sheets, we wanted to share them with you. Decoupage is an easy DIY craft project, but it’s messy, and you might not be able to get stains out of your kitchen floor or carpet if you do it inside. So, now that it’s summer, you can make just one or several DIY Steampunk furniture or accessory items with these DIY Vintage Decoupage Sheets for Upcycling Furniture.
All of these decoupage sheets come from a unique shop on Zazzle, Roycycled. We have presented on this page a selection of the decoupage tissue paper sheets that you can find in the shop, but to see them all (because there are a lot!), you will have to click through any link on this page. Also, for those who have never done decoupage before, you will find a video showing you the basics of how to decoupage at the end of this page. We’ve split the decoupage tissue paper designs into two groups. This first one is the beginning of the Steampunk Decoupage Tissue Paper group. This design is a collage of different measurement devices used historically. The drawings are placed together over a handwritten background. This design would make a lovely office piece for Father’s Day or a birthday.
Birds and birdcages are found everywhere with Steampunk even though the birds themselves are not a Steampunk image. However, the wire frame birdcage is, and it always looks better with birds in it or around it. This design has a very Victorian feel, especially with the hand and quill image in the center.
What mechanic wouldn’t love a piece made with this Grunge Gear Decoupage Tissue Paper design. A collage of mechanical drawings from blueprints are shown here. Great for a black and white piece or other dramatic design ideas.
Some of these images look sideways, but that’s how they are listed. This one includes an invoice, dress form, postage in an interesting collage for an office setting. You can also use the tissue paper for wrapping a gift. Several designs are also available in wrapping paper.
The famous Prague Astrological Clock is a stunning design to use for decoupage projects. It’s bright blue will add color to just about any piece of furniture or home decor accessory. Great for anyone who loves the stars or mechanical clocks and clockwork. Great Steampunk image for decoupage.
Hot air balloons are a prime image for Victorian Steampunk. This image shows several hot air balloons near the Eiffel Tower in Paris and other assorted Steampunk collage images. This is a more faded design which would look terrific on antique or vintage piece. Of course, you can wrap a gift with it too.
An interesting college of a mechanical winged-horse, iron metalwork and vintage signage. These vintage items are shown in black and white for a great addition to a white-painted item. Great for tables and chairs or cabinets for bedroom or bathroom. Click through for more information.
This decoupage tissue paper is filled with drawings for locomotive engines from the front and side. Great for a man’s office or bedroom, or anyone who loves trains and locomotives including steam engines.
This unique collage decoupage tissue paper design features a bunch of different Steampunk images together. An old skeleton key is in the foreground, along with a chandelier, royal crown and a floral frame. The background is handwriting including the word Napoleon. In black and white, great for a bathroom item on white or black.
This design is our personal favorite on this page. A beautiful, colorful owl stands on a branch of a tree under the moon. In the background, you can see typewritten wording. The entire paper is colored in browns and greens. Lovely for gift wrapping or decoupage.
This is similar to the earlier Locomotive Love design with an added Railroad sign on top of the drawings. Great idea for a train collector, model train builder, or someone who loves riding or watching trains. This design would look great on a cabinet door or on the surface of a table.
This section is full of decoupage tissue paper designs that are vintage, but less Steampunk and more Victorian in style. Roycycled calls them apothecary, and they certainly can be used for that purpose, or you can just use them for anything if they match the color or theme that you are creating with your DIY decoupage projects. We love the floral elements and colors.
This one certainly has an apothecary feel to it and would look great on bathroom cabinets or stools. Pink flowers adorn the foreground of the piece with a sophisticated background which includes images of signs, writing, a wasp, and banners.
This design features hydrangea flowers and a nest with birds in the foreground, and floral motifs and merchandise signage in the background. A very Victorian-looking tissue paper, this Floral Queen Bee Script Decoupage paper would look great against white furniture. Use on accessories, cabinets and side tables for a great look. Perfect for bedrooms, bathrooms and sunrooms.

This paper has similar motifs as the Floral Queen Bee paper above, so it would be a great complement to the other paper. This design is printed horizontally on the paper, making it a good choice for a horizontal space. Good for white furniture or a pink and white room.
This design features a rooster front and center with other farm paraphernalia in a collage. Great for furniture pieces in a country-style room, kitchens or farmhouse-style home or office. This vertical design is especially good for vertical cabinet doors.
Although shown below horizontally, this design look best when oriented vertically. The design has a feminine look with a mother and father bird looking over a nest full of chicks. It also featured pink roses, an ornate frame and handwriting in the background. Great for any Victorian-style room.
