Have you ever really thought about how much Steampunk is in the Harry Potter books and movies? My family watches the movies lot, and we have our favorites. But it was just the other day, as I was yet again watching Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, that I was struck with just how much Steampunk was a part of these movies and books.
I am a visual learner, so it is not surprising that it took one of the movies to cue me in, but yeesh, how many times do I need to watch something before I really see it. This is just more proof of how much we tune out in our world. And I have been looking into Steampunk in general lately.
